    Oh, Kaepernick fumbled... VERY lucky bounce kept ball in 49ers' hands. Took some horrible sacks, struggled to throw the ball away when he should have, didn't really try to throw down field... so, yeah, basically he was Alex Smith without the ball protection.

    Eh, 53 yards on 6 carries and a rushing TD isn't Alex Smith.

    However, I'll take ball protection over some extra rushing if you've got a decent running game.
